Breakfast

Traditional Quiche

This is a perfect dish on a Sunday morning and would be great if you are hosting a brunch. Keep some already prepared puff pastry in the freezer and you can whip up this recipe with modifications at any time. Although I used turkey bacon for this recipe, you can substitute original bacon in the recipe to your liking. Play around with the recipe, you can toss in some tomatoes, mushrooms or whatever you have in the fridge. Enjoy!

  • Dash - Cayenne Pepper
  • Dash - Hot Sauce

Heat oven to 375 degrees. On a lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry into a 16x12 rectangle. Gently transfer puff pastry into a 13x9 baking pan. In a separate small bowl, beat egg white until frothy and brush all over prepared pastry. Evenly layer cheese over pastry, then layer chopped bacon and onion. In a large bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients (including the extra egg yolk) and pour over the layers. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick comes clean when inserted. Enjoy!
